"Network Science + Smart Transportation" Forum Successfully Held

On April 19, 2021, the "Network Science + Smart Transportation" Forum, hosted by the Hypercomplex Network Science and Intelligent Systems Laboratory, was successfully held in a hybrid format, with the physical venue located at Room B6007, No. 2 Interdisciplinary Building, Jiangwan Campus, Fudan University. Over 20 participants from institutions such as East China Normal University, Shanghai University of Electric Power, Shanghai Rongda Traffic Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Zhejiang Normal University attended the forum for academic exchange.


 

 

 

The forum centered on issues related to the top-level design and operational management of smart city transportation, large-scale dynamic route collaborative optimization methods for complex road conditions, intelligent perception and control optimization of smart traffic lights, and similar topics. Experts and young researchers from mathematics, information science, software engineering, and related fields were invited to discuss the analysis, optimization, game theory, and regulation of such complex systems in smart transportation.

 

 


 


In the main forum and online sessions, Professor Dingding Han's team, Professor Lin Wei's team, and Professor Chen Mingsong's team delivered impressive presentations on their latest research achievements. These reports sparked lively discussions and enthusiastic responses from the attendees. Participants expressed that they gained valuable insights and engaged in in-depth communication about organizing applications for the next phase of major national projects.
