On May 18, 2021, as part of the "Academic Culture Festival" organized by the School of Information Science and Engineering at Fudan University, a laboratory tour brought students to the "Hypercomplex Networks and Intelligent Systems Laboratory" in the Department of Communication. A total of 63 students participated, divided into four groups for the visit.
Yang Zhengzhuang guided the students through the laboratory's promotional video and introduced key aspects, including the laboratory’s main faculty members and research areas, project collaborators, distinguished alumni, research achievements, and various activities.
Yang also provided a detailed demonstration and explanation of the "Return-to-City Work Resumption Platform" developed by the laboratory. The project, closely aligned with current events and highly practical, sparked great interest among the students.
Laboratory members explained the national key projects currently underway and introduced both self-developed visualization platforms and collaborative projects with external partners to different groups of visitors.
The students were encouraged to freely explore laboratory displays, including photos of past activities, award certificates, and published research.
They also showed great interest in the ongoing Raspberry Pi car experiments being conducted in the lab.
The laboratory tour concluded successfully, leaving the students with valuable insights and inspiration.
