As summer approached, the entire laboratory team traveled to Linyi, Shandong, a revolutionary base area, on June 5, 2021, to participate in the 17th China Network Science Forum.
The enthusiasm of the organizers was as bright and warm as the weather in Linyi. The conference began with welcoming remarks by President Zhang Shusheng of Linyi University, who extended his wishes for the success of the event. After attending the opening ceremony and group photo session, the laboratory members collectively listened to the plenary talks, taking detailed notes to gain insights into the latest scientific advancements while learning from the experts' research attitudes and academic spirit. The morning presentations were concise yet profound, with each speaker using clear language and rigorous logic to share their latest research. The sessions were filled with rich content and practical knowledge.
In the afternoon, a core laboratory member, Yang Chao, delivered a session presentation titled "Percolation on Multi-Layer Networks with Joint Storage and Processing Capacities." This was followed by an engaging and in-depth discussion with professors and students in attendance. After the conference, the team visited the Confucius Temple in Qufu on their way back, paying homage to Confucian traditions, respecting teachers, and reflecting on classical teachings.
The trip to Shandong was highly rewarding, not only enhancing academic knowledge but also providing a profound cultural and spiritual experience!
