On March 21, 2023, Chaos published the latest research results of the Han Dingding team of the School of Information Science and Engineering, researcher Ma Yugang of the Institute of Modern Physics, associate professor Qian Jianghai of Shanghai Electric Power University, etc., and reported in depth on "Recursive percolation on transportation networks". This work proposes an iterative traffic percolation framework to capture the dynamics of cascading failures and analyze potential overload bottlenecks. Empirical studies demonstrate that the proposed model can be used to find previously unknown bottlenecks that could lead to the failure of the entire road network. Subsequently, Fudan University News and Culture Network, Fudan University Official Account, and School of Information Science and Engineering Official Account respectively reported on the laboratory research results.
