From 2:00 to 4:00 pm on May 25, 2023, the graduation thesis defense work of Chen Zhuoran, Yang Chao, Zhi Huiyu, and Zhang Xihou, members of the 2020 class of the Super Complex Network Science and Intelligent System Laboratory, was successfully carried out. The four members participated in the offline defense in the B6007 conference room in Building 2, Jiangwan Campus, Fudan University. Their graduation thesis advisor is Professor Han Dingding, and the experts who participated in the graduation thesis defense of the four students are Professor Chen Mingsong from East China Normal University, researcher Ji Peng from Fudan University, and researcher Gong Peirong from the Shanghai Institutes for Advanced Study, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The defense chairman is Professor Chen Mingsong of East China Normal University, and the defense secretary is Teacher Liu Yijun.

Chen Zhuoran's graduation thesis was titled "Cascading Failure Analysis of Transportation Network Based on Percolation", and Yang Chao's graduation thesis was titled "Transmission on Multi-layer Network with Limited Edge Transmission". "Dynamics Research", Zhi Huiyu's graduation thesis is titled "Research on Dynamic Boundary Analysis and Control Strategies of Urban Road Network Congestion Areas", and Zhang Xihou's graduation thesis is titled "Research on the Design and Application of Multi-source Data Collaboration Framework for Smart Transportation". After the defense began, there was first a student self-report session, in which the four students elaborated on their understanding of the thesis topic, the skills and methods required to complete the thesis, and finally summarized their own gains and insights; then, there was a question-and-answer session by the defense experts. The answers of the four students were clear and well-founded, and were fully affirmed by the teachers. Finally, the teachers put forward targeted suggestions and requirements for the graduation thesis of the four students.
