Sponsored by the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics of China, hosted by the Communication University of China and the Complex Networks and Complex Systems Committee of the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics of China, the National Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication of the Communication University of China, and Network Science and Engineering of the Chinese Command and Control Society The 20th China Network Science Forum, co-organized by the Special Committee and others, will be held at the Communication University of China in Beijing from May 17 to 19, 2024. Two key members of the Super Complex Network Science and Intelligent Systems Laboratory of Fudan University were invited to attend the conference and gave an academic report at the complex network modeling, structure and function analysis sub-forum, titled " Robustness of higher-order networks with synergistic protection ” .
The theme of this forum is "Generating Future Generating Value", which aims to provide an academic exchange platform for experts and scholars in related fields to have in-depth discussions and exchanges about generating future and complex networks, generating future and open source intelligence, generating value and international communication, generating Cutting-edge theories and technical achievements in value and network public opinion, generative value and cognitive science.

The academic report " Robustness of higher-order networks with synergistic protection " by Chen Qihang, a direct PhD student in the laboratory , conducted a systematic theoretical study on the network robustness under extended bond percolation dynamics. This study used a simplex analytical model and introduced This paper introduces the concept of collaborative protection and explores the impact of high-order interactions on network resilience. The report proceeds from the shallower to the deeper, and provides a wonderful and vivid display and report of the research results step by step. In the subsequent question and answer session, the audience and teachers at the scene gave high recognition and appreciation to Chen Qihang’s research content and report.

The Hypercomplex Network Science and Smart Systems Laboratory focuses on the following research directions: complex network dynamics and its applications, complex network models and big data analysis, AI+ smart city key technologies and demonstrations, and cutting-edge research at the intersection of network dynamics and machine learning. The key researchers of the laboratory have given wonderful academic reports at every network science forum, and relevant results have also been published in top international and domestic magazines. At the same time, based on theoretical research results, the laboratory has successfully applied the intelligent construction technology and platform software of smart city cyber-physical fusion systems, providing an effective way for the rapid construction and continuous evolution of new smart city application systems, which can accelerate China's new smart cities The pace of construction will improve the quality of complex open systems in smart cities, greatly saving construction costs and thus generating greater economic benefits. It took the lead in publishing 1 national industry standard, authorized more than 10 invention patents , and obtained more than 10 software copyrights . The laboratory has trained many outstanding graduates and won the honorary titles of Shanghai Outstanding Graduates and School Outstanding Graduates .
