On March 3, 2026 (the 15th day of the first lunar month), the traditional Lantern Festival was celebrated with great joy. To promote traditional culture, ease research pressure, and enhance team cohesion, members of the laboratory held a festive celebration. From ingenious decorations and intellectual contests to sweet glutinous rice balls and joyful gatherings, the laboratory was filled with a strong festive atmosphere and warm fellowship.

In the morning, students set aside their research tasks and began to decorate the laboratory warmly. Working together in division of labor, they tidied up experiment desks, swept the floors, and greeted the arrival of spring with a brand-new look. Red lanterns were hung up and colorful balloons were pasted up, turning the originally rational-style laboratory into a lively and festive space.

In the following DIY handcraft session, everyone’s creativity was fully inspired. In the "Handmade Lanterns" area, students Ren Zhiwen and Zhang Xu used colored paper, scissors, glue and other materials to create unique and meaningful handmade lanterns with their fantastic ideas. At the "Paper-Cut Dragon Dance" corner, Du Yang, Li Yansong, Luo Kaiming and Zhao Yifei sat together, cutting and piecing together vivid and colorful auspicious dragons. At last, all DIY works were displayed and recorded in group photos.

After the handcraft session, the laboratory held leisure and recreational activities in the afternoon. Lantern riddles covered popular science, ancient poems, daily knowledge and laboratory safety regulations, which were both entertaining and educational. Card tables were set up in one corner of the laboratory. Whether playing "24 Game" or "Fight the Landlord", students deepened their friendship through tacit cooperation and cheerful laughter.
